2008 Readers' Choice Contest Rules 1. You must be 18 or older to enter. 2. Limit one ballot per person and only one answer per category. 3. Your full name, address, & phone number must appear on the ballot. 4. You must vote in a minimum of 25 categories. 5. Only original newspaper or online ballots will be accepted. No purchase necessary. 6. Ballots can be mailed or dropped off at The Item at 20 N. Magnolia Street, Sumter, S.C., 8 am-5:30 pm, Monday - Friday. Mailed ballots must be postmarked or dropped off by noon, May 12, 2008. Online voting available May 2-12, 2008 only. 7. Late entries will not be accepted. 8. Employees of Osteen Publishing Co. and their families are ineligible for cash drawing. The winner of $100 cash prize will be determined by a random drawing from all eligible entries. 9. The winner will be notified by phone and will appear in The Item's Readers' Choice section June 20, 2008. |
